Dear Ms. Scarato,

The cell tower placement and required permitting is a coordinated effort among Milestone Communications; the Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspection and Enforcement (DPIE); and the Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation.  They are the regulatory authority over land use.
Please contact Elizabeth M. Hewlett, Esq., Chairman of the Prince George’s County Planning Board at 301-952-3560 to address your specific questions.
Should you need additional follow up, please contact Mr. Sam Stefanelli, Director Building Services, PGCPS, at 301-952-6500
Thank you.

Dear Dr. Maxwell,

I am writing about the cell tower on school zoning issues. I would like an answer to these very simple questions that I have as a citizen and taxpayer in  Prince Georges County.
1. If a cell tower is going to be placed on a PGCPS  school, what is the code that governs the land in order to understand if a special exception process is needed for the cell tower.
2. Does Sec. 27-445.04. apply?

3. what is the zoning for Roosevelt High School  where new cell tower monopoles are proposed.

Thank you so much,
Theodora Scarato
